Yes, I hold a RePL licence with CASA, I am also fully insured to carry out aerial operations. If I need anything above this licence, I call upon it as required.

It takes people skills. Many great photographers are introverted artists and that’s a barrier they cannot breach successfully. I’m very outgoing. I quickly make people feel comfortable in front of the camera to capture them at their very best. Making people at ease is a big part of getting that best shot!

Basically, as long as you like, I am not going to come back and ask you for more money each yearly anniversary. In most cases images get used so many times that they are refreshed on a yearly or 18-month time period.

Commercial photography Sydney clients tend to be multinationals, ad agencies and design groups, councils and the federal government. The work is varied and that keeps me on my toes. It’s also interesting as it brings variety to my working days! I love it!

Commercial photography can be challenging. Managing logistics, continuity across multiple locations and tight deadlines (everyone wants their photos right away) is an artform in and of itself. If you’re a wanting a successful outcome from your commercial photography shoot, you’ll need a photographer that can plan the shoot and all its potential pitfalls (weather, light, tardy arrivals, lack of parking, last minute changes, etc.)

Initially you the client who has commissioned the job, I am shooting for you and your needs and more importantly your brand. If third party businesses wish to use the images that is fine but we need to control it and that business needs to pay for the right to use them. Editorial usage sits outside of that permission, if you are getting publicity in a magazine or newspaper/industry journal then a simple credit is what’s required.
