Client:Interflow

Job:Staff at work (location)

Investment: Two full day shooting

Brief

To capture staff onsite at work. Interflow works on large scale water and sewage projects both in maintenance and building works. The staff carry out many and various types of work from inspections to ground and below ground works. Interflow want to always capture the staff doing these works to show the size and scale of the work they do and who they do it for. Photographing the engineers onsite as well as the workers in high vis full PPE, all of the normal OH&S standards must be adhered too in capturing the jobs being done. Interflow want to always show a connected and supported work place where people have room to move within the organisation.

Shoot

Both days were spend traveling across the Sydney metro area capturing a wide variety of projects in progress. Each location was scouted upon arrival to determine the best options for capturing the locations at the time of day. The client and I then went about finding and setting up the best photo options possible that showed the skills being put into practice. The location included inner city areas with minimal space onsite to outer south western areas where space was abundant. Each site entailed capturing the site engineer working with plans and drawings to those down in the ground and trenches fulfilling those plans. At each location we ensured we had a complete shot list of the job so as to cover every step including a full team shot of those onsite.
