Client:National Acoustic Laboratoires/Atomic Tangerine
Job:Macquarie University Offices
Investment: Full day shooting
Brief
Capture staff at work, setup lab scenes of hearing testing in progress. Staff portraits to create cohesive look and style. Editorial style individual and group shots to be used on the website and in publications. Help develop a style and feel for the website launch that shows a connected work environment and the valuable work done at NAL.
Shoot
On the shoot day locations and scenes had been scouted and setup to enable the capture of the images required. Starting in the large acoustic testing lab using some stylized coloured flash lighting to create shape and texture in this large, interesting place. Using the various locations multiple scenes of staff at work and in casual conversation were captured as briefed. Ensuring we stick to the story set out in the brief while adapting to what happened on the day the shoot evolved as planned.
Delivery
Over 100 high resolution images were selected and delivered for this job. The client has access via a secure gallery to download various size images for use in different outputs. All images are colour/contrast adjusted and ready as print files or for digital online usage. They are free to use them as required with no further licence renewal in the future.
Testimony
I’ve worked with Matthew on a number of projects, so when the National Acoustics Laboratory needed a set of images for their new website I knew exactly who to call! Matt is professional, creative, and great with clients – meaning we always get images that are on-brand, meet the brief and provide us exactly the content we were expecting. Matt is a storyteller at heart and is highly skilled not only at getting great shots, but in making subjects feel relaxed in the process.
